This is the page where you can meet the people who really help me make this site tick. There are going to be people added here as time allows.

Here we go, it's time to meet the family!

I'm Shawn Bennear, the webmaster and the originator of the site. I take some of the photos on the site personally, and I'm the one who selects the pictures to use. It is my privilege to do this site, and I do enjoy it.

In another life, I was PAT Operator 9100! ( I really do miss working there) In my time there I worked out of Ross, Collier, and my favorite, the Rail Center. I am now driving truck for the USPS.

This is my son, Jeremey, who is 30 and like his dad, likes buses too.

Dave Davis comes to us from Cranberry Township, PA. Dave is a excellent photographer, and you can see some of his pictures in various locations across the site.

Dave is now retired as the SENIOR (#1) Bus Driver for North Allegheny School District... And he's still driving part time! Hey Dave, you retired, you ever hear of golf and relaxation?

What can I say... If it wasn't for this man, Mike Cook, This website would not be here... When I was a teenager, I met Mike while taking a trolley ride. I got to know him, and rode with him just about every Saturday! I learned a lot from him, and he instilled my love for transit.

Oh, the shock he had when he was in the crews room at the rails when I walked in, in my new uniform! The look was priceless!

Mike has since retired, and was working at SEPTA in Philadelphia. Who knows, maybe I'll go there next!

Thank you for all you have done, Mike!

Another great guy from who I learned a lot about the rails at Port Authority during my time there. Howard Stevens has helped me many times on this site to check me on making sure things were fine, and above all, correct. Here is Howard doing what he does best...operating a rail car!

Many thanks Howard for all the help you have given in the past. I hope you will still step in occasionally to make sure everything is good... It's appreciated! May you enjoy your well deserved retirement!

Maurice Dewberry also hails from Pittsburgh. He love buses and has a ton of knowledge on their workings. He is interested in starting a transit agency for the Pittsburgh area. His interest started as a young child riding the 86B with his Grandma, about a decade later he came up with a plan to start a new transit agency.

This is Ed Burik. Guess what he enjoys! Ed is a excellent photographer, also living in Pittsburgh. He used to drive for Lenzner Coach Lines where I used to work at one time. He is also very good at paint schemes, and one of his was actually on a PCC trolley (1734) in the colorful days.

This is David Ford, He is 33 years old. "I've been a bus fan for as long as I can remember, my mom didnt drive so our only transportation was the bus, and there was just always something about buses that really caught my interest." David currently is driving for the Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority, and has been for the last 5 years.

Hi, I'm Dylan McKevitt.

I am 18 Years old and I live in the North Hills. I love buses. My two favorites are Bluebird All Americans and Gillig Advantages.

John Fedorchak has been into transit ever since he can remember. With a father who worked at South Hills Village rail yard, and a grandmother who didn't drive he spent a lot of time around buses and trolleys. He would often take the 68D to downtown to visit the stores with his grandmother.
