The wheels on the bus go off the ground, off the ground, off the ground!!!

Commuters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, had a rough morning on October 28, 2019 when the rear of a Port Authority bus fell into a sinkhole. The front of a Kia behind the bus also fell partially into the hole.

The bus was stopped on Tenth Street at Penn Avenue when the ground beneath it cave it and its rear half collapsed into the newly-formed crater...

The incident happened around 8:00 AM in the morning. A water main broke underneath the road and weakened the pavement. When the bus stopped for a red light, the buses substantial weight caused it to fall through the street. The incident left the front end hanging high in the air! Onboard were one passenger, and the bus operator, neither of whom were injured. Rumor has it though that a bystander had to be transported to a medical facility becaue the noise made him hurt his neck when he turned abruptly...

Two cranes were necessary to lift the bus out of the hole. The necessary road closures might make traffic a mess for a few months or so...

Let's check out the mess...

They did get the bus out of that huge hole, with the help of two huge cranes. Everyone involved did great work, and the bus, 6015, is back in regular service!

Almost instantly, this incident made worldwide news... and of course made the rounds on social media too... Meme's were flying out faster than a box of twinkies at a weight watchers meeting...

Here's a few... I think I counted like 40+ and still counting...

Oh, and don't forget about all the other things... Ornaments, tatoos, costumes, and so much more...lol

Gotta love the fun everyone has had with this... Best part... No one was injured!
